Ruto’s Allies Lead Campaign

President William Ruto’s allies, including DP Kithure Kindiki and CS Ruku, are spearheading efforts to rally support for UDA. CS Ruku, however, has openly criticized his party leader, Muturi, for allegedly misleading constituents and urged focus on leaders capable of delivering development

Tensions Ahead of Polls

DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua claimed threats against him while campaigning for the opposition, calling on the police to intervene. UDA dismissed the claims as exaggerated and politically motivated, with CS Ruku describing them as “dramatizations” rather than legitimate concerns
