Newsline Media and Training Agency is celebrating two years of empowering aspiring journalists, communication professionals and public relations practitioners through practical, industry-focused training programs.

The agency, which has positioned itself as a key player in media training and professional development, says it has spent the past two years equipping students and professionals with hands-on skills needed to navigate the rapidly evolving media landscape.

Over the period, the institution has trained students and professionals in media, public relations and information technology while also helping facilitate internship and employment opportunities for graduates.

Speaking during an interview, Managing Director and Founder Faith Mukundi said the agency has distinguished itself through specialized media training masterclasses, crisis and risk communication programs, and practical media production services.

“We have been imparting students with practical skills and exposing them to the real world so that they can understand the corporate environment and how it operates. We also mentor them in a way that encourages self-reliance and innovation,” she said.

Mukundi noted that the institution’s approach goes beyond classroom instruction by encouraging learners to think independently and develop entrepreneurial mindsets.

“We try to expand their thinking so that they can acquire the right skills and do things on their own without having to depend entirely on formal employment,” she added.

According to the founder, Newsline Media and Training Agency has evolved from a local training institution into a trusted partner in media and communications training. The agency has also established collaborations with several universities that refer students for industrial attachment and practical training.

As it marks the milestone, the agency reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing the next generation of media professionals through quality training, mentorship and industry exposure.

The anniversary comes at a time when demand for practical skills and digital competencies continues to grow across the media and communications sector, making industry-based training increasingly important for career development.
