Liverpool Boss Arne Slot to Meet Mohamed Salah Amid Uncertainty

Liverpool manager Arne Slot is set to hold a face-to-face meeting with forward Mohamed Salah on Friday to determine his involvement in Saturday’s Premier League clash against Brighton & Hove Albion

Slot moved to calm speculation over Salah’s future following the Egyptian star’s public criticism of the club after last weekend’s 3-3 draw with Leeds United

Salah, who was left out of Liverpool’s 1-0 Champions League victory over Inter Milan on Tuesday, is at the center of uncertainty at Anfield as the team struggles in 10th place with 23 points from 15 matches

“I will have a conversation with Mo this morning, the outcome of that conversation determines how things will look tomorrow,” Slot said, adding that he has no reason to want Salah to leave the club

Salah is expected to depart for the Africa Cup of Nations on Monday, leaving questions over his long-term future at Liverpool amid interest from Saudi clubs

Meanwhile, Slot confirmed that Alexander Isak’s participation on Saturday will be assessed following a knock sustained against Inter Milan
