Suspected Phone Hacker Arrested in Turbo as Police Recover Flashing Tools and Devices

Police officers from Eldoret Police Station have arrested a man suspected of engaging in phone hacking activities during an operation in Kimumu, Turbo Sub-County, Uasin Gishu County

During the operation, authorities recovered 13 assorted mobile phones believed to be stolen, five HP laptops installed with flashing tools, and flashing software suspected to have been used to facilitate unlawful activities

The suspect has been taken into custody pending further investigations and is expected to be arraigned in court

All the recovered electronic devices have been secured as exhibits

The National Police Service (NPS) reiterated its commitment to tackling cybercrime and other emerging criminal activities. The agency also urged members of the public to remain vigilant, safeguard their personal information, and report any suspicious activities to the authorities
