Mudavadi Arrives in Ethiopia for Strategic Two-Day Diplomatic Visit

Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Musalia Mudavadi has arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, for a two-day official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation
During the visit, Mudavadi is scheduled to hold high-level talks with Ethiopia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gideon Timothewos
The discussions will focus on deepening regional cooperation, advancing shared economic priorities, and enhancing collaboration on peace, security, and regional stability in the Horn of Africa and across the continent

Mudavadi will also meet the United Kingdom’s Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, Rt. Hon. Yvette Cooper, MP
The engagement will review progress under the Kenya–UK Strategic Partnership, with emphasis on expanding cooperation in trade and investment, climate action, security, innovation, and sustainable development

Upon arrival, the Prime Cabinet Secretary was received by Kenya’s Ambassador to Ethiopia, Galma M. Boru, Deputy Head of Mission Amb. Petronila Were, and Minister Counsellor Kevin Thuo, reflecting the Kenyan mission’s support for the visit
The visit underscores Kenya’s continued commitment to strong diplomatic partnerships, regional integration, and collaborative approaches that promote shared prosperity and stability
