Tsavo West Rhino Sanctuary Evolves Into World’s Largest Conservation Haven

From humble beginnings 40 years ago on a three-square-kilometre parcel of land holding just three rhinos, the Tsavo West Rhino Sanctuary has grown into a globally recognised conservation treasure
Today, the sanctuary spans an impressive 3,200 square kilometres now the largest of its kind in the world
This vast expansion has transformed the ecosystem into a vital conservation hub and a safe haven for more than 200 rhinos

During the launch in Ngulia, Taita Taveta County, leaders hailed the sanctuary as a powerful national model for wildlife conservation
