Nominated Senator Hezena Lemaletian has successfully obtained permanent protection orders against her former fiancé, Musa Hussein Lenyumpa, following months of personal turmoil after the end of their engagement
The ruling, delivered at Milimani Law Courts by Magistrate Festus Terer, stems from a case that began after the senator publicly acknowledged the relationship before calling it off earlier this year
Senator Hezena had previously returned a Ksh.100,000 traditional courtship token in a bid to settle the matter privately
However, the breakup reportedly led to a series of threats, harassment, and defamatory statements that left her feeling unsafe at both her home and workplace

According to sources familiar with the matter, the ongoing stress took a personal toll on the young senator, who had to balance her public duties with the emotional strain of the dispute
