Police in Meru have arrested a man accused of impersonating police officers and terrorising residents of Imenti North Sub-County
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the suspect, identified as Lucky Mwenda, was apprehended following a tip-off from members of the public

A search conducted at Mwenda’s premises led to the recovery of items believed to have been used in the impersonation, including a military jacket, a military knee pad, a military hat, a camel bag, and a dagger

The suspect is currently in police custody and is expected to be arraigned in court once investigations are completed
