Authorities also seized medical supplies and other logistical materials believed to have been assembled in preparation for an operation
Investigators say the cache of weapons and supplies suggests possible plans by Al-Shabaab operatives to stage an attack in the city
“The National Police Service, through specialised units such as the Anti-Terrorism Police Unit and the Special Operations Group, alongside other security formations, continues to maintain heightened vigilance across the city and throughout the country,” the NPS said in a statement posted on X
