ODM Demands Full Implementation of Raila–Ruto 10-Point Deal Before 2027 Elections

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Dr. Oburu Odinga has called for the full implementation of the 10-point agenda agreed upon between former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and President William Ruto, insisting that all issues be resolved before the 2027 General Elections
Speaking at Chungwa House after a meeting with newly elected ODM MPs, Dr. Oburu stressed the need to address the “thorny” issues identified by the two leaders
He also hailed the party’s performance in recent by-elections, describing it as a victory for the broad-based partnership between ODM and the United Democratic Alliance (UDA)

“We congratulate our MPs who won, and we recognize those who participated but did not succeed. This success shows the strength of our broad-based arrangement with UDA,” he said
Dr. Oburu, joined by ODM deputy leaders Abdulswamad Nasir, Godfrey Osotsi, and Simba Arati, emphasized the importance of vigilance and continued activity to strengthen the party

“The newly elected MPs are from our generation. ODM must remain strong as a national party that champions unity and the future of Kenya,” he said
He concluded by reaffirming the party’s commitment to the 10-point agenda. “We want to see this fully implemented before the 2027 elections. This is what we stand for,” Dr. Oburu added
