Nandi Governor Stephen Sang has announced that the iconic Kipchoge Keino Stadium will be renamed William Ruto Stadium once its reconstruction is complete
The stadium, recently commissioned by Defence Cabinet Secretary Soipan Tuya, has been relocated to the Kapsabet Showground to make way for a new ultra-modern facility with a 10,000-seat capacity
The project is part of a wider effort to upgrade sports infrastructure across the county
