3K FC head coach Francis Chege has expressed confidence that his side can maintain their impressive National Super League run as they gear up for a challenging clash against Soy United next weekend
The team is coming off a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Gucha Stars, and Chege believes his squad has what it takes to keep the momentum going
Speaking to Citizen Digital, he noted that the upcoming fixture will be their first-ever meeting with Soy United a team he described as technically gifted and tactically sound

“It will be our first encounter; they are a good team with technical players, so it promises to be a very tough assignment
But we must make our chances count if we want to get points from Eldoret,” Chege said
Despite 3K’s solid defensive record boasting six clean sheets in nine matches the coach admitted concern over wasted chances in front of goal
He stressed the need for sharper finishing as the title race tightens

“We must improve in some areas. We have to sharpen our striking force
The defence is doing better because we have kept six clean sheets in nine outings, which is commendable,” he added
3K currently sit third on the NSL table with 18 points, just two behind leaders Migori Youth and one behind second-placed Mombasa United
Chege believes consistency and improved efficiency in attack will be pivotal as they push for the top spot
