Kayole Starlets head coach Mary Adhiambo is expressing strong confidence in her team’s ability to upset league leaders Trinity Starlets when they clash in the FKF Women’s Premier League on Saturday at the Comboni Polytechnic Grounds in Gilgil
Adhiambo, a former Harambee Starlets star, guided Kayole to a crucial 2–0 win over four-time champions Vihiga Queens last weekend at Kasarani Annex a victory that propelled them to second place with 16 points, just one behind Trinity
Kenya Police Bullets, Ulinzi Starlets and Zetech Sparks complete the top five with 15, 14 and 14 points respectively

Buoyed by her team’s solid form, Adhiambo says they are ready for the stern test ahead
“Trinity are a very tough team. They’ve won almost all their matches, so we had to prepare thoroughly,” she said
She added that earlier concerns over injuries to key players Peris Oside and captain Hellen Ochieng have eased, with both showing good signs of recovery and likely to feature.
Despite Kayole’s impressive start, Adhiambo insists their main goal remains a top-five finish
