Ruto Unveils Ambitious Plan to Revitalize Agricultural Sectors Nationwide

President William Ruto has revealed his administration’s comprehensive strategy to rejuvenate the struggling agricultural sectors across the country.

During the commencement of his four-day tour in the Nyanza region, the president expressed the government’s unwavering commitment to taking decisive action against those who exploit farmers, particularly within the corruption-ridden sugar sub-sector.

Addressing the issue head-on, President Ruto boldly stated, “For the cartels in the sugar industry, you have three options: go to jail, leave Kenya, or face divine judgment.” His resolute words received resounding approval from the sizable crowd in attendance.

As part of the strategic measures to rescue the ailing sector from the grasp of powerful individuals, Ruto announced the government’s decision to write off the significant debts owed by sugar factories, amounting to 117 billion shillings.

He emphasized, “To salvage these sugar firms, we have had to absolve their debts as the government of Kenya.”

Turning his attention to the challenges faced by the tea and coffee sectors, President Ruto reassured farmers of the government’s commitment to addressing their concerns and improving the situation.

He drew parallels between the progress witnessed in the tea industry and the ongoing efforts to revitalize the coffee sector.

President Ruto stressed the importance of patience in the face of complex challenges, assuring farmers that the government’s initiatives would ultimately yield positive outcomes.
