Police in Isiolo County have successfully recovered 21 stolen goats and sheep following an extensive patrol operation in Burat area
According to a statement by the National Police Service (NPS), the animals were recovered by officers from Kulamawe Police Station working jointly with National Police Reservists
The team conducted patrols across LMD, KMC, Mlango, and Leparua about 25 kilometres west of the station after receiving reports of livestock theft
The officers also engaged local elders in the recovery efforts, which led to the successful retrieval of the stolen livestock. The recovered animals were later handed over to their rightful owner

“Security patrols in the region have been intensified to pursue the criminals involved in the livestock theft and to ensure they face justice,” read the NPS statement
