Police Launch Probe After Grade Five Pupil Found Brutally Murdered in Kinangop

Police in Kinangop, Nyandarua County, have opened investigations into the gruesome killing of a Grade Five pupil from St. Christopher Primary School, whose decapitated body was discovered in a maize farm on Thursday morning

According to area residents, the boy had spent the day on the farm with his mother before disappearing in the evening.

Despite frantic efforts to find him, he was only discovered the next day, murdered by unknown assailants

Residents condemned the horrific act, calling on authorities to move swiftly and bring those responsible to justice.

A child rights officer in Kinangop, Mary Muigai, urged parents to remain vigilant and safeguard their children during the long school holiday

The boy’s body was moved to the Naivasha Hospital mortuary as investigations continue
