Former Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo Dies in Naivasha Road Accident

Former Lugari Member of Parliament Cyrus Jirongo has died following a fatal road accident in the Karai area of Naivasha along the Nairobi–Nakuru Highway
According to reports, Jirongo was driving himself to his rural home in Lugari when his vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with a Climax Coach bus in the early hours of Saturday morning
Naivasha DCIO Isaac Kiama confirmed the incident, stating that the former legislator died on the spot at around 3am. Police officers visited the scene and took the necessary action

The body was moved to Naivasha Sub-County Mortuary pending a postmortem examination, while both vehicles involved in the crash were towed to the police station as investigations continue
