BIC Empowers 50,000 Kenyan Students with Support During National Exams

BIC, the global leader in stationery, lighters, and shavers, has concluded a nationwide campaign aimed at motivating and supporting students during the Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA) and the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams

The initiative reached 50,000 students across seven regions, providing them with essential writing tools, motivational messages, and emotional encouragement to help them excel during this critical period

Speaking during the campaign, Paloma Lengema, General Manager of BIC East Africa, reaffirmed the company’s dedication to education

“Since its inception, BIC products have been a companion for students in their learning journey, including during exams

National examinations represent a defining moment for young Kenyans, and we want them to know they have our support during this period and beyond.

This campaign aligns with BIC’s global sustainability program, “Writing the Future Together,” through which the company has pledged to improve learning conditions for 250 million students worldwide by 2025

It also coincides with the 75th anniversary of the BIC Cristal ballpoint pen, a product that has made quality writing tools accessible to millions globally

In Kenya, BIC continues to advance education through long-term programs such as “Buy Me and BIC Will Donate a Pen” and “Express Myself with My BIC Pen,” which have collectively supported nearly 80,000 students and hundreds of teachers nationwide
