Turkana County Police Commander John Tarus confirmed the incident, saying a multi-agency team is on the ground and urged residents not to take the law into their own hands
The bodies of the victims are currently being preserved at Lodwar Referral Hospital mortuary

This violent raid comes just days after a similar attack in Kapelbok village, where bandits stole over 1,000 cattle and killed one person
Authorities continue to investigate and track down the perpetrators as tension remains high in the area
