Police in Machakos have arrested five burglary suspects and recovered several items believed to have been stolen during a break-in along Kitui Road in Machakos Town
The suspects were apprehended on Friday by detectives who were conducting a routine patrol after receiving a tip-off about an ongoing theft. Upon arrest, the suspects led officers to another location where the stolen property had been hidden
According to the National Police Service, the recovered items include a television set, a keg pump, audio equipment, and assorted alcoholic beverages
“The suspects subsequently led officers to a location where a television, a keg pump, audio equipment, and assorted alcoholic beverages were recovered,” police said in a statement

All five suspects have been detained at Machakos Police Station and are expected to be arraigned in court
