Former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has formally stepped back into the political arena with the launch of a new political party, the National Economic Development Party (NEDP)
The development marks one of the most significant political moves by the flamboyant former county boss since leaving office
Earlier today, Sonko received the Certificate of Full Registration for NEDP at the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) in Nairobi
The certificate confirms that the party has met all the legal requirements and is now fully recognized as an official political entity in Kenya
