The National Police Service (NPS) has announced the arrest of seven suspects linked to the violent disruptions that occurred at the Kariobangi North PCEA Church on Sunday, November 30.
According to an NPS communiqué, the suspects Charles Otieno Opiyo, Wilson Okoth alias M.C. Otieno, Michael Mutunga Kavulunze, Brian Omondi Odhiambo alias “Bryo”, Reggy Opiyo Otwole, Elisha Otieno Ochieng, and Gordon Odhiambo Onyango were apprehended in Lucky Summer as investigations intensified

Chaos broke out when two rival groups of youths began hurling accusations at each other, prompting police to fire warning shots and deploy teargas after attempts to restore calm failed
Gachagua has since accused President William Ruto and Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja of orchestrating the disruption through hired goons and security officers
Meanwhile, the Nairobi Regional Police Commander and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have launched further investigations into the incident
