Kibera Black Stars Eye Derby Victory Against Darajani Gogo in NSL

Kibera Black Stars will aim to return to winning ways when they face their fierce rivals, Darajani Gogo, in a highly anticipated Kibera derby this Sunday in the National Super League (NSL)

Black Stars head coach Iddi Badi expressed confidence in his squad, emphasizing the importance of securing maximum points after failing to win their last two matches against Equity and Soy United

“We must win because we haven’t achieved good results in the previous two matches. My players have prepared very well and understand the importance of this derby,” said Badi

Despite his confidence, Badi acknowledged that Sunday’s clash at Vapor Grounds in Ngong will be challenging

He praised Darajani Gogo for their individual talent and fighting spirit, stressing that his team must remain focused throughout the match

Last season, Kibera Black Stars claimed four points from Darajani Gogo in their league encounters, a statistic that bolsters their confidence heading into this fixture

“Darajani Gogo have good players, and the game will not be easy. We have a few injury cases, but we have confidence because we collected four points against them last season,” Badi added
