Traffic Disruption Expected on James Gichuru Road as KURA Plans 4-Day Maintenance

Motorists are advised to prepare for potential traffic disruptions along James Gichuru Road as the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) gears up for scheduled maintenance.

According to an official statement released by KURA, the maintenance work will commence on Thursday, March 14, and continue through Sunday, March 17, 2024. These repairs are vital to improving the condition of the road, which has drawn complaints from commuters.

James Gichuru Road serves as a critical link between Gitanga Road in Lavington and Waiyaki Way, catering to commuters traveling along the Red Hill and Olenguruone Road routes.
