GSU Officer Arrested Following a Woman’s Suicide in Lang’ata

A General Service Unit (GSU) officer, Victor Otieno Ouma, stationed at the GSU’s Ruaraka headquarters, has been arrested by Lang’ata police in connection with an alleged suicide involving a 28-year-old woman named Nelvin Museti.

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) took action after a forensic analysis of the victim’s phone indicated the potential presence of Officer Ouma during the incident. According to the police report, Nelvin reportedly jumped from the third floor of an apartment building in Lang’ata last Thursday.

The caretaker of Ascort apartments in Lang’ata reported the incident, stating that Nelvin’s body was found at the back of the apartments. Despite having no apparent physical injuries, blood was observed oozing from her nose. The police report revealed that Nelvin, who lived alone, is believed to have jumped at around 5:50 am, attracting the attention of neighbors.
