Bolt Driver Faces Suspension Over Indecent Behavior

In a video that has since gone viral, the driver can be seen unzipping his pants, prompting the female passenger to demand that he immediately stop the car and let her disembark.

Ride-hailing platform Bolt has announced the suspension of a driver registered on their app who was reportedly witnessed exposing himself while driving a female passenger.

In a video that has since gone viral, the driver can be seen unzipping his pants, prompting the female passenger to demand that he immediately stop the car and let her disembark.

The passenger inquired, “Why are you undressing? Drop me off right here,” and then alerted her friend seated in the back, saying, “Sally! Alight, this man is undressing.” She then firmly instructed the driver to “let me out.”

This unpleasant video, later shared on X (formerly Twitter) by former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, compelled Bolt to take action.

Bolt stated that they have taken appropriate measures against the driver, banning him from providing services on their platform.

“We are actively engaging with the affected passenger and would like to extend our sincere concern and empathy regarding this regrettable incident,” Bolt expressed.

The company emphasized its commitment to the safety of its customers and affirmed their zero-tolerance policy for such misconduct by their drivers.
